A new BHZ. Hopefully a better BHZ.

Blackhawk Zone: The Voice of the Fans Once upon a time, Blackhawkzone was known as "The Voice of the Fans". Back then Frank Porcelli created a website which was written by Blackhawk fans for Blackhawk fans. Over the past few years, however, this site has drifted from that philosophy.

Many of the contributors fled across the 'net in search of a substitute. And while there could never be a replacement for the original BHZ, many of those people landed at The 300 Level: a message board created and moderated by a long-distance friend in Stuy.

But now it's time to shift Blackhawkzone back towards its roots. With the redesign, the focus is once again on what the average fan has to say. With links to Blackhawk message boards, the inclusion of the Blackhawks own official Twitter feed, increased attention on what's happening with the Blackhawks and a regular BLOG by yours truly - it's my hope that even a bit of Frank's original vision once again becomes reality.

I invite all fans to take a part of this site; to once again make it the top Blackhawk fan site on the web.

Contribute with a pre-game write-up; submit your post game thoughts; tell the world what you think of McEgo's 'premium' games or his 60% ticket price increases.

This is the place to vent and to celebrate. This is the place to be heard.

Most importantly, this is the place where Blackhawk fans have a voice.
